London drivers on the M25

It was just yesterday we were towing home my friends broken down car, strapped together with hazards and warning triangles.

Cars were on the tail of the broken down car like flies round a dog turd.  And they stayed an inch of the bumper only to overtake and cut in front by millimetres of my car.

Londoners are just awful people.  I’m sorry, learn to fookin’ drive with some courtesy – if you acted like that walking down the street you’d be in pain relatively quickly.

 

My stiff legs

They’re killing me!

I need to stretch.  Doing about 10 hours of walking per week now.

Waist disappearing though.  But I feel stiff and lethargic from the waist down.

What’s annoying me this week…

Well, there’s always something.  But I can’t find much to moan about as I’ve kinda ‘accepted’ the weather, idiots on the road and the sloppyness of British society.  For every inadequacy there is a positive exploitative side to a situation.

For instance, you moan that people are stupid, not super clever etc. and make a disorganised mess of things.  But when I go play poker online, it is these not so clever people you want at the table.

We moan about UK tax etc. etc.  but think of this – all gambling winnings are tax free.  100%.  Unlike USA where it’s taxed at 35%. 

We moan about the cost of living, yet most of us have made a pile on property investment. 

We moan about the price of petrol, heating etc. but try buying a computer, ipod or whatever…things are extremely cheap in that department compared to 20 years ago.

So this week, nothing is particularly annoying me…no moaning!

The big break in Lost…

Maybe I’ve touched on this before but Lost has now had a huuuuge break and we won’t see any more till Jan 2008.

From there they promise to run the series start to finish without breaks.

At last….!

It is truly an excellent show….albeit it runs like a Russian bus service in the 80s.

Avid DV editing software crashing…

Avid might be the best thing since sliced bread when it comes to DV editing, but I tell you now laddy…it’s a c*nt when importing video.

For UNKNOWN reasons it will freeze at certain points on the tape.  The same points too.  It just throws an over-flow tantrum and you have to reimport past that offending piece of tape.  Sucks.

Bad parking

The above example is extreme.  But it’s something that annoys me, when cars are parked either side and people try to squeeze 4 cars on a 2-lane piece of road.

Not that the parking is the problem, but the afteraffects and potential crashes it causes thereafter.

Anyway, it’s a pet hate, people should park on the pavement or further away for the consideration of others.  Double parking goes without saying it is just crazy, but people do it in city centres.  That is the pits of them all.
